Background

The Business and Human Rights (BHR) Hackathon will bring together young minds from leading business schools in Thailand, ASEAN, and beyond to tackle some of the most pressing human rights and sustainability challenges facing businesses today.
Hosted as part of the 2025 UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum (RBHRF), the Hackathon will immerse participants in real-world problem-solving, guided by BHR experts, academics, and industry mentors.
The Hackathon connects business schools with real-world corporate challenges in environmental sustainability and human rights, guided by global experts. It’s hands-on learning, direct exposure to industry leaders, and a chance for your students to showcase solutions on Asia-Pacific’s biggest BHR stage.

For participating students and universities, the hackathon will provide:

-
Hands-on experience applying BHR principles to real-world business challenges.
-
Mentorship from global experts and industry leaders.
-
Networking with companies, academics, and UN agencies.
-
Visibility at Asia-Pacific’s largest BHR gathering.
-
Certificates of participation for all; special recognition for winning teams.
