Background
The Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) is a business practitioners collaboration funded by BSR which was established in 2012 to help companies implement the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). Since its inception, the group has grown into a network of company practitioners representing 60+ global companies across industries.
The HRWG mission is to create a safe space for a cross-sector group of companies to share best practices, challenges, and experiences implementing the UNGPs and to learn about both foundational human rights approaches and emerging issues
As part of its ongoing program HRWG hosts several regional events in Europe, Americas and Japan and is now set to launch its APAC chapter in fall 2024. which will offer a platform to companies based in the region to foster dialogue on UNGPs implementation and cross-sector learning and collaboration on business and human rights.
Please join us in this launch event together with our HRWG member companies. Through a panel discussion few companies will share insights from their work and discuss the current status of implementation of the UNGPs in the region.
This event is meant for business participants only.
